As a pioneer and central player of the Tech-House scene he succeeded in getting and remaining one of the most requested producers and DJs worldwide. Especially in the U.S.A. and Great Britain he established himself as archetype for nearly every following production or name in this division. In 2008 Terry Lee Brown Junior was very successful with his 5th album "Softpack" and the singles "Pulsar", "Chatterbox", "Delightful Encounter" and "Wait". Furthermore he continued his stylish compilation series “Terry’s Café” with volume 11. DKMA presents Andrastea - The Ascent

Growing up in Roxbury Massachusetts, in a single parent household, Dana Kelley's musical influence started with his mother. Ophelia played numerous R&B hits that are considered classics by today's house folk. Ophelia enrolled her children into the Elma Lewis School of Performing Arts, where he excelled as a classical violinist. Music is not the only passion, art as a whole was exposed to Dana Kelley aka DKMA. At the age of 16, Dana demonstrated a flair for fashion illustration, and won a 2 year scholarship to the Museum School of Fine Arts. In 1994, Dana approached DJ Bruno at Boston Beat with a cheesy demo of tracks he was working on. Bruno called Dana and told him to stop sitting on the music, and recommended house labels to send a demo to. Kult, Strictly Rhythm and Eightball received demos, and 3 days later Gladys Pizzarro called with an offer Dana could not refuse. "Krimp" was born. This was the beginning of something truly special. Dana played also a part in the UK revolution called Speed Garage. A bassline from "In the Spirit" was sampled numerous times and was released on Strictly Rhythm as "Praxis featuring Kathy Brown - Turn Me Out". Beside a lot of releases on labels like Strictly Rhythm, Contrast Records, 4th Floor Recordings, Chug Recordings and Subliminal Records he also released on Plastic City under the name "DKMA presents Andrastea". With the artists Melonie Daniels (vocals on “Meneuette At Your Side”), Melissa Bailey (vocals on “LOL”), Soul Child (vocals on “Swinging Trees”), Stacey Jethroe (vocals on “Seek ‘N’ Find), Diva Dish (vocals on “Groove”), Jeff Ramsey (vocals on “Walking On By”) and Marko Militanoon on Electric Guitar (featured artist on “Memorial Drive”) Dana Kelley created a true masterpiece. The sound of the tracks ranges between classical house rhythms and arrangements over breathless clear minimalism and chunky tech-house to very soulful downbeat and ambient titles, always with this rooted and honest sound - a very designed elctronic music world.

Terry Lee Brown Junior - Selected Remixes

Last year Terry Lee Brown Junior aka Norman Feller convinced the dancefloors and the music press with his 5th studio album “Softpack” and the singles “Chatterbox”, “Pulsar”, “Wait” (featuring Robert Manos), “Softpack – The Edit” and "Delightful Encounter". This year he started with a remix package on vinyl of the album-tracks “Soul Digits” and “Pulsar”, where he engaged Alex Flatner from Circle Music, Cooccer from Shayan Music and Harold Heath (amongst others releasing on Urbantorque). But Terry is famous for his own remixes, too. Ronin - Placktown Sounds Vol.2

Ronin aka Jonathan Axelsson was born in Sweden, and got in touch with music very early in life since both his father and grandfather were musicians. As a young boy he started playing drums, and then continued with piano lessons. In the mid 90s he discovered a new type of music that would change his life forever. The music he heard was calld deephouse, and struck Jonathans heart immediately. He now started to produce music in a more serious matter and in 1997 he got in touch with Johan Bacto, which later formed the
label PlackTown Sounds. Jonathan was now known as Ronin, and made alot of releases on the PlackTown
Sounds imprint. With alot of great feedback from radiostations, magazines, DJs and even television, Ronin continued on the path of sensual, moody deep-house. His music was reaching out to the world, and in the year of 2001 he released a mini LP on Chris Grays label, Deep4Life in Chicago. Chris gave Jonathan his second artist name J. Axel, and he was now focusing on vocal deep-house, and he started working with the
talanted vocalist Astrid Suryanto. He still produced instrumental deephouse as Ronin, and in 2002 he made a release on The Timewriter and Terry Lee Brown Juniors label Driftwood. In late 2004 Jonathan completed his album, “J. Axel - Deepness Is Served”, which was released 31st of July 2006 on the German recordlabel Boheme. Later, this album was re-released by Plastic City. Since today, Jonathan has released on various labels, contributed with music to many compilations, as well as DJing in alot of clubs over the years.
His releases and DJ-sets have always been criticaly acclaimd, and its a fact that he will keep on delivering music with precence and luxury, which touches mind, body and soul. Now you can find Ronins selected works on two releases “PlackTown Sounds Vol.1″ (released: december 2008) and “PlackTown Sounds Vol.2″ (released: march 2009) on Plastic City.
